How SPDY Safe Parcel uses the information you give us on this website and in our driver application form.

Who we are. SPDY Safe Parcel ("SPDY", "we") is a delivery company based in Weybridge, Surrey, operating as an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. Contact: contact@spdy.online.

What we collect. When you apply to drive with us we collect your name, contact details, postcode, driving licence details and country of issue, age band, availability, and the documents you upload (ID, licence, proof of address, right-to-work evidence, UTR and National Insurance number). When you use the contact form we collect your name, e-mail, phone and message.

Why. To assess your application, verify your right to work and your licence, arrange training and, if you join us, to pay you and comply with our obligations as a delivery partner. Contact-form messages are used only to reply to you.

Legal basis. Steps prior to entering into a contract with you, our legal obligations (right-to-work and driver checks) and our legitimate interest in running a safe delivery operation.

Sharing. Your details are stored in our CRM and shared only with the people at SPDY who handle recruitment and operations, with Amazon's onboarding systems where required for you to deliver, and with our accountants for payment. We never sell your data.

Retention. Unsuccessful applications are deleted after 6 months. Driver records are kept for the duration of your work with us and for 6 years afterwards for tax and legal purposes.

Cookies & analytics. This site uses Google Analytics to count visits. No advertising cookies are set by us.

Your rights. You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing at any time by e-mailing contact@spdy.online. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
